              (i) obtaining an annual certification from a manufacturer that it has complied with SpringsĄ¯ Code of Conduct;

 

              (ii) having Springs associates and agents periodically complete compliance check-lists when they make business trips to a manufacturer; and

  

(iii) having independent auditors periodically audit a manufacturer to determine if it is complying with SpringsĄ¯ Code of Conduct.

  

Guiding Principles

 

               The following principles are tools to assist our business partners to comply with the intent and spirit of this Code. As a set of guiding principles, they also help identify potential problems, allow -ing us an opportunity to work with our business partners to address issues of concern as they arise.

 

              Business partners that produce goods for Springs Industries will comply with the applicable laws and regulations of their respective countries.

 

              Business partners will conduct their business in a way that is consistent with SpringsĄ¯ environmental, safety and health policy guidance and strategy. Business partners must provide workers with a safe and healthy workplace environment. Business partners who provide residential facilities for their workers must provide safe and healthy facilities in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
