Wages and Hour Information

Failure to comply with the minimum wage standards set by the local government

1.)    A minimum wage that is at least equal to the prevailing local minimum wage is to be instated.

2.)    The required legal postings pertaining to wages are to be obtained and posted in a prominent area.

Immediate action is required and re-inspection will occur within 30 days.

Failure to pay at least minimum wage for all hours worked for all employees

1.)    Workers are to be paid for all work that produces value to the employer, including repairs/rework and actual production during all hours of work, including overtime, probation, and test period hours.

Immediate action is required and re-inspection will occur within 30 days.

Failure to follow the government laws and limits regarding the maximum number of hours worked per employee

1.)    Government approval must be obtained to allow for the extended hours, if applicable.

2.)    Workers cannot be required to work more than the maximum number of hours as stipulated by law.

3.)    Daily, weekly and/or montly hours worked by women must be reduced to comply with the local labor law.

4.)    The required legal postings pertaining to work shifts, hours, and policies are to be posted in a prominent area and in the native language of the workers.

Immediate action is required and re-inspection will occur within 30 days.

Immediate adherence to the labor restrictions placed on women. Re-inspection will occur within 60 days.
