Foreign Owned -- Factory with ownership in a country other than its own.                                                                                                    

Natonal Owned -- Factory with ownership in same country as factory location.

Labor Type(s) 

 

Home Worker - Workers who do not work within the facility (work at home, etc.)                                                                                              

Migrant Labor - Workers who have migrated from another region, country or area to work at the facility, on a temporary basis.  (*If a worker is both Migrant and Unskilled, please only include in Migrant Labor count.)                                                                      

Unskilled Labor - Entry-level workers, or workers trained at factory; non-technical workers, etc.                                                                      

Sub-Contractors - Temporary workers, but from the same region, area.                                                                                                             

Skilled Labor - Management, Supervisors, trained employees, etc.

If more than one type of Labor, please list percentages of each in the Comments box next to each drop-down.

Management Style

 

Highly Un-cooperative - Totally unwilling to make changes and work with Nordstrom to be compliant with Nordstrom's Social Compliance program.                                                                              

Slightly Un-cooperative - Some resistance to making changes to comply with Nordstrom's Social Compliance program.                                                                      

Cooperative - Does the minimum they have to do to be compliant with Nordstrom's Social Compliance guidelines.                                                                           

 Above Cooperative - Does above the minimum required to be compliant with Nordstrom's Social Compliance program.                                                                       

Best in Class - Takes on ownership of their own social compliance program and makes improvements beyond what is required by Nordstrom.
